What data is processed?<\/u><\/h1>\n

When using \u00abZoom\u00bb, different types of data are processed. The scope of the data also depends on the data you enter before or during participation in an \u00abonline meeting\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The following personal data can be processed:<\/p>\n

User details: <\/strong>first name, last name, telephone (optional), e-mail address, password (if \u00abSingle- Sign-On\u00bb is not used), profile picture (optional), Department (optional).<\/p>\n

Meeting<\/strong> metadata:<\/strong> Topic, description (optional), participant IP addresses, equipment\/hardware information.<\/p>\n

For recordings (optional): <\/strong>MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings, M4A file of all audio recordings, text file of online meeting chat.<\/p>\n

When dialing in by phone<\/strong>: information on incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. If necessary, further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be saved.<\/p>\n

Text, audio and video data<\/strong>: You may be able to use the chat, question or survey functions in an \u00abonline meeting\u00bb. To this extent, the text entries you make are processed in order to display and, if necessary, log them in the \u00abonline meeting\u00bb. In order to enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your terminal device and from any video camera of the terminal device will be processed for the duration of the meeting. You can switch off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time using the \u00abZoom\u00bb applications.<\/p>\n

In order to participate in an \u00abonline meeting\u00bb or to enter the \u00abmeeting room\u00bb, you must at least provide information about your name.<\/p>\n

Scope of processing<\/u><\/h1>\n

We use \u00abzoom\u00bb to perform \u00abonline meetings\u00bb. If we wish to record \u00abonline meetings\u00bb, we will inform you of this transparently in advance and – if necessary – ask for your consent. The fact of the recording will also be displayed in the \u00abZoom\u00bb app.<\/p>\n

Should it be necessary for the purposes of logging the results of an online meeting, we will log the chat content. However, this will usually not be the case.<\/p>\n

In the case of webinars, we may also process the questions asked by webinar participants for the purposes of recording and follow-up of webinars.<\/p>\n

If you are registered as a user at \u00abZoom\u00bb, reports on \u00abonline meetings\u00bb (meeting metadata, telephone dial-in data, questions and answers in webinars, survey function in webinars) can be stored for up to one month at \u00abZoom\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The possibility of software-based \u00abattention tracking\u00bb in \u00abonline meeting\u00bb tools such as \u00abZoom\u00bb is deactivated.<\/p>\n

Automated decision making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is not used.<\/p>\n

Legal basis of the data processing<\/u><\/h1>\n

If personal data of Zimar employees is processed, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR is the legal basis for data processing, as long as the meetings are performed within the scope of a contractual relationship. If personal data of Zimar employees are processed in Germany, \u00a7 26 BDSG and the works council agreement of \u00abZoom\u00bb are also the legal basis for data processing.<\/p>\n

In other respects, the legal basis for data processing when conducting \u00abonline meetings\u00bb is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. In these cases, our legitimate interest is to ensure that \u00abonline meetings\u00bb are performed effectively.<\/p>\n

If no contractual relationship exists, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Here too, our legitimate interest is to ensure that \u00abonline meetings\u00bb are performed effectively.<\/p>\n

Transfer of data \/ Recipients<\/u><\/h1>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Personal data processed in connection with participation in \u00abonline meetings\u00bb is generally not transferred to third parties, unless it is specifically provided for the purpose of transfer. Please<\/p>\n

note that content from \u00abonline meetings\u00bb as well as personal meetings are often used to communicate information with customers, consignees or third parties and are therefore intended to be forwarded.<\/p>\n
